This Santoku knife from the Golf series of SAMURA®, is a general use knife, where in Japanese it means "three virtues", since it can be used to chop meat, fish, and vegetables. Its nose is more crooked than the chef's knife, while the short length of its blade makes it ideal for chopping your food. Its light weight makes it comfortable for frequent use. The Golf knife series consists stainless steel blades made of Japanese AUS8 steel, which makes them extremely sharp and highly strength. The handles of the knives are made of durable plastic (Polypropylene), ergonomic and have a golf ball texture. The knives of this series combine the traditional art of making Japanese knives with the highly aesthetic, minimalist design.
