Spices, seasonings, sauces and marinades will add extra flavor to your grilling. They are used either for food preparation or during serving.

Spices
Using spices to your foods will add great aromas and flavors to your food. They are ideal for fish, pork chops, chicken breast and vegetables.

Spices can make everyone wonder why your roast is so delicious! They are blends of dried or fresh herbs and spices, salt, pepper.

Another kind of seasoning the so-called "paste", where classic spices mix with oil or other liquids. Their use is simple: either glaze it on the food and season their taste or add them directly to the food while grilling and create an irresistible crust.

Marinades
Marinating is the sinking of pieces of meat into a mixture that usually contains oil, an acidic ingredient, spices and herbs. The secret to a good marinade is the balance of four primary flavors: salty, sweet, bitter and sour.

The role of marinades is to make meats tenderer by enhancing their taste and giving them a special flavor. Marinating helps break the muscle fibers of the meat by making them tender, juicy and delicious. It is the ideal solution if you want to avoid the sauces or the many spices after grilling that usually add fats and calories.

If you are accustomed to use marinade as a sauce after grilling, you should know that it is necessary to boil it for at least 5-10 minutes.

Sauces
One of the best part of a barbecue is the sauces! Sauces strengthens the flavor of the roast. Some sauces are spread out (Glazing) the last 10 to 20 minutes at the end of grilling. Some others have a dilute texture and are spread out with a blasting brush for extra flavor. There are also dipping sauces, including steak sauces usually sprinkled. Particularly widespread is the BBQ sauce. Most barbecue sauces are based on tomato. Others are based on mustard, vinegar or hot, spicy chili. Sauces based on jalapeno peppers are much milder than those with habanero peppers. The sure thing is that a good sauce can make the difference by enhancing the flavor of your roasts!
