The adjustment knob in shiny metal, placed at the top of these two mills, is used to adjust salt and pepper coarseness to your preference. From the finest grinding to the coarsest, you can season the dishes that you prepare, according to your preferences. The pepper mill is designed exclusively for black, white, green red, Sichuan pepper, coriander seeds and pink peppercorns (if blended to a max of 15% with other peppers. The salt mill mechanism is specifically suited to dry salt crystals (rock salt like Himalayan rock salt). It cannot be used with wet salt.
