Use Cook in Wood® Oak wood chips to add a strong smokey flavor to your food. These wood chips are made of Oak wood, the king of hardwoods. Oak is strong, but it does not tend to overpower the taste and texture of the meat. If you are cooking or smoking beef or lamb, this is the best hardwood to use. Also it is an excellent choice for smoking pizza. Wood chips are ideal for giving smoky flavor to your roasts or can be an alternative as a source of heat for grilling instead of charcoal briquettes. Use the wood chips either directly on your charcoal, or in the smoking box if it is a gas grill.

Useful Instructions
- Place the chunks in an aluminum foil filled with water and soak them for about an hour.
- For each grilling you will need about a cup of chips.
- Prepare your barbecue at moderate temperature.
- Drain well and add them to the charcoal or the smoking box.
- When woods begin to smoke, move the meat onto the grades.
