This SAMURA® DAMASCUS series Santoku knife, is a universal knife and in Japanese means "three virtues", since it can be used to chop meat, fish, and vegetables. His nose is sharper than the chef's knife, and the length of his blade is ideal for chopping. Its light weight makes it comfortable for frequent use, while the grooves hold air to prevent food (especially grease) from sticking to the blade. The Damascus knife series is made of 67-layer Damask Steel blades, making them extremely sharp and durable. The knife handles are ergonomic, made of high-pressure fiberglass, G-10 and feature a special antimicrobial, stainless steel collar. The knives in this series combine traditional Japanese knife art, high aesthetics, contemporary and elegant design with premium quality metal, making them the favorite of many professional chefs.
