For more than 100 years, the company Claude Dozorme has been creating luxury products in its workshop, located in Thiers, the capital of French cutlery.

The story began in 1902 in La Monnerie, near Thiers, France. Blaise Dozorme, an experienced steel metallurgist, decided to use his experience to set up a small knife-making workshop in his home. Working mainly as a subcontractor, his professionalism and strong sense of duty gained him a reputation in the Thiers district. His entrepreneurial spirit combined with a dominant personality led his peers to call him "The Wolf". Decades later, Dozorme would use this nickname as the basis for its logo and graphic identity.

With more than 18 employees distributed among the various laboratories of the production chain, the cutlery company Claude Dozorme produces several hundred knives from beginning to end, in its place, every day.

Cutting steel, grinding, polishing and assembling are the key steps in making a Claude Dozorme product over a century. However, during this period, the knife trade has incorporated new methods, associated with the emergence of new technologies, for the processing of knives and forks, which are innovative and of unrivaled quality.
