This Lodge's special silicone black handle, is ideal for protecting your hands from heat by safely moving your cast iron utensils.
During cooking / grilling, every pan or Dutch oven entirely of cast iron gets very hot and it is impossible to touch it with bare hands. This handle is designed to fit to most traditional Lodge cast iron assist handle, withstand temperatures up to 232 ° C and is also suitable for dishwashing.
